Trump: "Based upon a very productive meeting I had with Mark Rutte, we have formed the framework of a future deal with respect to Greenland and, in fact, the entire Arctic Region. This solution, if consummated, will be a great one... Based upon this understanding, I will not be imposing the Tariffs"

What scares me is that it’s a productive meeting with Rutte.. and I don’t trust Rutte with Trump, he has browned nosed him for a year already

Epstein files were off the front page and some insider trading/ stock shorts were done. All and all, a successful stunt for Trump (even though many other were harmed in the process).

"𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙪𝙢𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚?" Does he intend to have 𝙨𝙚𝙭𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚 with Mark Rutte? I don't think that he got anything!

I'm going to guess this 'deal' includes things Trump could already have done in Greenland legally and things that would have been okayed if he'd just asked instead of using his mob boss tactics. Admin must have looked at the polling.

He’ll get a “Junior President of Greenland” badge made of chocolate wrapped in gold colored foil, and a fancy certificate with his name on it.

There will be no golden dome over Canada or Greenland since the only entity threatening them is the U.S. He wants a golden dome because Bibi has one. It would be the biggest grift ever to him, his insiders, and all the corrupt military contractors.

Is the Trump Greenland “deal” the same status we currently have that the U.S. can operate military bases and have military operations in Greenland? What is the framework for this future deal?

Maybe they agreed to erect a monument to Trump in Greenland. The Trump Peace Pole. Would be a smart idea, would become a huge tourist attraction. The world's most popular urinal.

He's claimed deals w/ people he's never talked to before. Just because tRump says it, doesn't make it True Accurate Legal Constitutional Or Based in Reality. He's a Liar A Grifter And a senile 🦇💩🤪 old man. #ResistPeacefully #AbolishICE #ICEOutForGood #VoteBlue2026 #NoKings #ImpeachTrumpsRegime 💙🇺🇸

Translation: someone explained it to me like the low IQ person I am and I'm now backtracking with my own spin on it hoping I don't look like a colossal jackass. Too late

TACO. The agreement will be the arctic (Canada, Nordic, and Baltic block) middle powers secure the arctic through negotiation (with China) and military capability (vs Russia), while the US remains dependent on our icebreakers.

Meaning he will announce he has made a deal that is exactly the same as the deal we have had all along. Rebrand it and claim he is an incredible negotiator. 🤮

He's burnt his bridges with Europeon leaders -they will put up with him as they have to but he has pushed them all too far - over nothing. This could have been resolved through dialogue (like grown ups do) instead of the shitstorm, hurt and fear he caused so many. Give a madman power.

"Pertain", "consummate" ... The only thing Trump was "Thank you for your attention to this matter", which he probably has as auto text.

As people have said, it’s going to maintain exactly how it’s set up now but we’re going to have to listen to trump and maga screech about what an incredible deal maker he is. Barf.

So is Trump going to count this as a war he stopped? The 9th war? I think the Nobel prize committee should give him a Nobel prize for stopping nine wars now and they should literally give him a Nobel peace prize every month for the next three years, if he promises to never impose a tariff again.

“Concepts of a plan” is working really well for Trump over the years My next prediction is that no matter what deal they come up with for him to put 25 Trump airbases in Greenland. He will want the name of the country change to “Trumps Greenland Resort and Timeshares, Inc.

TACO trump strikes again. His entire understanding of macro and micro economics is filtered through the lens of the NYSE. Congress & the supreme court won't provide guard rails, but the markets can.

What are the odds that the great deal will be a version of the one that has been on the table all along. He started going TACO yesterday when he said that he wouldn't use the military. Rutte saw an opening and worded the former deal to appeal to his ego and he bit like it was a Big Mac and fries.

The Trump fool has been lying all along. The claim that the U.S. has spent “$22 trillion more than the allies” is an outright lie. 𝙄𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙖 𝙉𝘼𝙏𝙊 𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 but a 𝙧𝙝𝙚𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙠 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝘼𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙖’𝙨 𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙧𝙚 𝙜𝙡𝙤𝙗𝙖𝙡 𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙨 𝙞𝙛 𝙞𝙩 𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙙 𝙙𝙚𝙗𝙩. 👇

It folds in wars of choice, nuclear forces, Pacific deployments, and worldwide bases that have nothing to do with collective defence. When Article 5 was actually invoked after 9/11, NATO allies spent over $100 billion, lost more than 1,000 soldiers.

NATO countries stayed for 𝙩𝙬𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙮 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙨 despite having no direct national interest—𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙚𝙩𝙡𝙮 𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙨𝙚𝙨.

What it's *meant* to mean is Negotiator-King Trump has decided on a new path and Europe has fallen in line, so now he'll delegate to his underlings. What it *actually* means is he feels he has an off-ramp, so he's (probably) going to shut up about it and leave it to peons to deflect from now on.

🙂🙂Rutte gave Fat donnie a way to save face is all. I doubt anything will come of this Greenland crap. You could see from the exchange that Taco donnie was furious at all the push back he's recieved so, Rutte played it smart and gave donnie a "We'll think about it"

I think he is quite clever and he did play trump. A Treaty between Greenland and the US already exists with regards to military bases, so that may be Rutte's play. 👍

Europe put FELON Trump in his place - stood up to the lunatic psychopath. Had universities, law firms & media done the same from the get-go - and had Republicans ever told him 'No' - we wouldn't be here wasting everybody's time on his crazy nonsense. Trump lost. Europe won! #Davos #Greenland

A framework, not a fully executed deal. The language “framework” “if consummated” is vague, designed to declare success before it exists. If real: cool, avoids tariffs, preserves cooperation. If not: it's political theater. Right now it looks more like diplomatic spin than a fully fleshed treaty.
