I'm gonna say it's both and there's a lot of people who consider themselves very progressive that go wrong somewhere on their mission of being The Most PC and end up behaving in ways/saying things that are very right-wing and it's really baffling!
Street of rage 2 had the perfect politician to incarnate the citizen frustration. Don't you think mayor Haggar could pay a visit to some punk in DC for the enjoyment of all ?
So...if I say "how is it the final fight when it's clearly 2," can I expect some unhinged answer about how we shouldn't fight?
And should my next response be, "then tell me if the 15th fantasy will be the final one"?
I mean, what about fire? That's a bad thing to have the streets full of! Sure it might look like tonight is what it means to be young when Tom Cody's doing a hammer duel with Willem Dafoe, but I'll assure you you'll get nowhere fast...
I feel like this person misinterpreted the joke and instead fairly read it in the context of the mass protests going on in the US. And if that's the case, it's at least a pretty rad reply imo.
I get the joke. I like the streets of rage series. I'm just saying it's a refreshing alternative to the lib bullshit about restrained protest. Hell yeah to this energy.
If the streets get any more rageful, someone is going to fight the street. Probably a karate guy, but possible an interpol agent or a US airforce pilot or a Russian wrestler.
