Why do people keep writing the same "actually it's more fun over on X" blog, who fucking cares

Because there's an election in a few weeks, and X can add unlimited amounts of propaganda to your feed while pretending that it's just user-generated content and so not subject to campaign laws. They know you'll leave X in disgust again soon but as long as it's after the election, who cares.

Yeah that's neat man. Did you know the guy who runs it is using his unimaginable wealth to accomplish all of the goals of the KKK? I don't care if it's the Dave & Busters of blowjobs, I'm not going

Trying to imagine what the Dave and Busters of blowjobs even is. Is it like a Dave and Busters full of blowjob machines? Is it a blowjob that gives you sensory overload and a small number of prize tickets? Is it a place where you give blowjobs to win prizes? Many questions.

I guess I just wouldn't want anyone to get the impression that I was alright with, or able to ignore, that kind of thing

I thought it was immediately obvious what it meant, but this caused me to think about it more, and now I would like to go back in time and not do that.

The essays are also always wildly unconvincing even taken on their merits. It’s always like, as long as you take care to not be associated with any kind of marginal identity and pretend politics don’t exist, it’s the best place to see the posts the marketing heads write for various CEOs. Okay?????

If I ever wrote a “it’s actually more fun over on the child porn creation site” blog I would hope my friends would do an intervention.

I had a nice community and algorithm going over there, so I wasn’t seeing the awful parts of it. It really was more fun, and I disliked ceding the space to the haters. But I did leave about a year ago, because I didn’t want to support it anymore. It’s a damn shame. Nazis ruin everything.

That's only true if you like Israel and Elon, anyway. Post something against those two, and they'll be demanding your palm print in 2 seconds. It's fun if you have no actual opinions about anything important.
