Someone in a convo on instagram just reminded me this is the dumbass who doesn't believe in germs. No wonder he sees no use for vaccines. SMDH. Please impeach this asshole before he further ruins our defenses.

You have to understand where he is coming from. In his mind "flu" is code for "hangover" and you don't get hangovers if you just stay drunk. It has been working for him for years now. Little bit of coke to balance it out, no one will ever know.

'...at the height of the American military involvement in the war, September through November 1918, influenza and pneumonia sickened 20% to 40% of U.S. Army and Navy personnel.' Download the article before he bans it for not being able to do a pull-up. pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC...

pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.govThe U.S. Military and the Influenza Pandemic of 1918–1919The American military experience in World War I and the influenza pandemic were closely intertwined. The war fostered influenza in the crowded conditions of military camps in the United States and in ...

* Putin has invaded the United States of America vis-a-vis Donald Trump's Fox News Appointees Administration of Cosplay unqualified loyal stooges. Russia or China or even North Korea could take advantage of the present disarray of the american government with a nuclear first strike. *

Vaccinations for US military members came about because disease once ravaged the armed forces. It says a lot about Hegseth that he is ignorant of the eponym of the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

Standby for news like this: ‘We’re receiving reports that over 600 service members on Aircraft Carrier (insert name) are currently sick with influenza. We’re hearing the vessel does not have enough fever reducing medication or buckets on board to accommodate this level of illness’.

The freedom to swing your arm ends when your fist contacts the other guy’s nose. Soldiers may find themselves in situations with citizens who have compromised immune systems. Things like the flu may kill these people. Or hit their noses.

Sweet. Can't wait to see a bunch of sick sailors and soldiers in the Strait of Hormuz too unwell to do anything but curl up in blankets dreaming of hot chicken soup while Iran takes our lunch. Great thinking all around, dipshits.

Two of my father’s great-uncles died on the flu, same day, 100 miles apart while fighting in France during WWI. But sure, over reach. I’m sure dead soldiers can fight those wars.

I’m not a doctor but having raised kids and knowing how quickly germs are shared, won’t not requiring the flu shot just let the flu run rampant, and you know, WEAKEN OUR WAR FIGHTING CAPABILITIES WHEN EVERY LAST FUCKING WARFIGHTER (hate that fucking name btw) HAS THE FUCKING FLU?? MAYBE?

They have fitness standards. They have uniform dress codes. They have conduct rules. They can tell you where to go and what to eat and who to associate with. But a flu shot violates their … something.

Are there situations where military members need to be in close quarters, which could lead to flu outbreaks? File this under the logic of "I'm not getting wet, so I should throw away my umbrella."

Honestly I am surprised that the DOD hasn't taken this down when they purged all other kinds of historical information.

The West made the covid pandemic political. Now all healthcare is. This was inevitable. The Epstein class are eugenicists. If you're not 'working' or 'consuming', which makes them richer, they have no use for you. Resist. #WearAMask Get your jabs - there never was anything wrong with vaccines.

The Republican Party is an existential threat not only to the nation, but to humanity. It must be completely demolished by any means available.

So the new weapon on everyone elses shopping list. The Flu. Easy to spread, easy to catch, cheap and easy to make. 🤣😂 The US is run by idiots.

Many, many years ago during my earliest years in college, I read a lot about warfare in the 17th and 18th centuries, wherein I learned how many soldiers died from factors other than combat. Hard to fight when your boys are laid out with the sluices open at both ends.

Obviously, why would you want to protect against communicable diseases among troops forced to live for almost a year in a confined close-quartered space with immune systems already weakened by poor diets? Never let a republican pretend they “support our troops” ever again.

Boy howdy, it sure is great for ol Petey boy that illness wasn't, historically, the biggest threat an army faced. Wait, I'm being handed a note taped to a military history book...

I've said it for quite a while, but it bears repeated: these people (including RFK) are not "anti-vaxx. They are pro-disease. They are passive eugenicists. They truly think the vaccinating people means a whole lot of fundamentally "weak" people live (and breed) who otherwise would be dead.

“weaken our war-fighting capabilities” *1918 Spanish flu taps Hegseth’s shoulder* Despite its name, researchers believe the Spanish flu most likely originated in the United States. One of the first recorded cases was on March 11, 1918, at Fort Riley in Kansas.

That’s what happened with the Great Influenza epidemic. Countries suppressed bad news to keep up morale. Newspapers reported the outbreak started in Spain to create the impression that it was the epicenter. It was 1st detected at a Kansas military base & spread, killing 50 million worldwide.

No occasion in history where they may have been the cause of the spread either. The lack of history knowledge and rank stupidity within this regime is stunning. You'd think they'd know somethings about the flu at least being that they used that to constantly dismiss covid. Nope🙄

I still have letters from my granddad who was in the army during WWI (my country wasn't involved). He mentioned a mysterious disease among the military, taking many out. I think this was the "Spanish flu". It was actually from the US, but first openly reported in Spain.
