Kansas Dem Sen. nominee Adam Hamilton on trans rights: “I don’t think we should take a small group of people and bully them, pick on them, and hurt them. I understand one thing really clearly when it comes to transgender people, and that is Jesus told me I was to love my neighbor as I love myself”

A good thread of Seattle races which have a large discrepancy in the amount of outside spending.

Everyone attending NWSL games is expected to follow the National Women’s Soccer League Fan Code of Conduct. It makes it so fans can enjoy the game, and clearly lays out why these hatemongers were - and should be! - kicked out.

One more thing: This can include both Language and Provoking behavior. Aaand Violating the NWSL Fan Code means... You can get kicked out!

I see a followup that the DOJ is "reviewing the incident", which is patently ludicrous. People's personal freedoms don't really come into play if they won't follow the basic rules expected of them.

Anyway, I read the NWSL Fan Code of Conduct so you don't have to... Some highlights: 1. These rights are for fans. 2. Negatively impacting others is not cool. 3. People should not have to deal with jerks. 4. Includes itemized list of things not to be a jerk about! 5. Do what the staff says.

Seems like we just learned the U.S. is in the advanced stages of planning attacks against Iranians in Iran.

Extrapolating from this practically linear chart, Trump will be at 110% disapproval by 2030

Mark Chadbourn@chadbourn.bsky.social

Trump’s approval rating has plunged to a record low of just 31%, according to a new Reuters poll. Looks like he could be in the 20s by the midterms. Democrats lead Republicans 47% to 35% among registered voters, up from a 7-point lead two weeks earlier.

Vote NO on all WA State-wide initiatives, friends. All brought to your ballot and monied up by weirdo Brian Heywood & the "Let's Go Washington" millionaires/billionaires lobby group. They want to pick you pocket, grope your children, give child abusers more leeway, & defund our state's services.

Burien Cat Lady General Election Endorsements! Vote NO on all 3 Heywood initiatives. We absolutely need an income tax & at the very least we need to protect the millionaires tax. We are not doing this “parents rights” BS. We are SUPER not doing this transphobia & gender policing bullshit.

i dont think republicans understand that id actually rather have my taxes go to the wellbeing of illegal immigrants who work and help the country rather than into corporate bailouts and endless forever wars

I, personally, would not go on the record with a reporter to announce I’m in favor of destroying the playground my kid is currently loving because I drive to work once a week (and the road still wouldn’t go there anyway), but everyone lives their lives differently I guess
