It’s around 28 mins in. Have fun! #StrongMessageHere

Sameer Padania@sdp.bsky.social

There have been a lot of exceptional segments in #StrongMessageHere, but the part that begins with Daniel Thomas in this episode is, for me, the apogee. I should have played it to my fellow train passengers to explain why I was crying with laughter…: www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/...

This underscores why it’s so hard to cover Trump. Every sentence contains multiple lies, true, but *also* each lie is made for a different reason. Some are premeditated, some a product of dementia, some a product of being raised in a cult, some only semiconscious, some born of fear. He’s a mess.

These new trains are about to enter service from Zagreb to Split. Are those first class seats as comfortable as they look? Well worth the €30 1st class fare!

Superalbs@superalbs.bsky.social

A look at Končar's new long-distance unit, including their extremely luxurious First Class with massive reclining seats. These trains have just entered service on the LONG route from Zagreb to Split (8 hours), so it'll be interesting to see how well they're received on this trip! 👀

NEW: @apnews.com confirms that ICE has begun electronically "disappearing" people in the agency's custody who have final orders of removal. As of last week, anyone jailed by ICE with a final order of removal will NOT appear in the ICE Online Detainee Locator System, making them effectively vanish.

Stay tuned for more on this from mainstream reporting hopefully later today, but Bob's got the gist of it; last week, it appears that ICE began disappearing people from the Online Detainee Locator System the moment they get a final order of removal. Yes, this is as deeply screwed up as it sounds.

Quite remarkable for a party leader to say this of a man arrested on suspicion of assault & coercive control. Or should be... Farage: “I am sorry for his personal difficulties that he is going through. No one’s life is ever seamless and I am quite sure he will come out of these before too long."

For the second straight day, the White House's taxpayer-funded incitement account is attacking me and oddly mentioning I'm in my 40s (which I know makes me way too old for the president) When they do this it results in a flood of harassing and threatening messages, which of course is the point

Another opportunity to note that Donald Trump is personal business partners with the leaders of a country he is giving otherwise utterly inexplicable special dispensation to, a situation which in any other era of American history would be deemed a federal felony and impeachable but is for now a yawn
