📢IT'S HERE. Divine Frequency EA is finally RELEASED! ON STEAM NOW!
We had some hard times along the way but the support was INSTRUMENTAL. Thanks to everyone who believed in the soul of the project! We can't wait to show what else is to come!

She's not just "a congresswoman", she's the co-author of the biggest brazilian worker rights bill of the decade, if not of the century (it eliminates the possibility of having job positions with 6 work days per week)
while star wars galactic racer does look pretty promising and i will definitely be picking it up, I still think it's in poor taste to allow baby yoda to be ejected from his car seat during a race
Attention Scottish voice actors! 🏴🎤
We’re gearing up to cast an upcoming project, which will require an (almost) all Scottish cast! So watch this space, if it’s nae bother.
tim sweeney moving to C++ gave the world an incompatible stitched-together quasi-C++ dialect, moving to "open-source" resulted in the janky UE5 source-available license, and moving to 3D originated the boldly iconoclastic "Y axis goes sideways" coordinate system
the default key to use the light augmentation in deus ex is f12 which is also the stream screenshot key. so here's all of the times i used the flashlight in my last playthrough of deus ex
don't give these monsters your new IP ideas. they will spend 150 million on the game then either cancel the project or release it, and fire everyone involved. no residuals, no bonuses
find your funding elsewhere, Xbox is dead
Huge benefit cuts are so intensely unpopular that this government hid their plan to make scything cuts until they’d won the election. They may have cost the last PM his job. But the main parties, the press and military all agree: fuck you, we’re slashing benefits to buy missiles.
cosigned. genuinely so many good aspects of unity (and good features still being added!) but it's entirely undermined by following the entire world economy pivoting to utter bullshit
RE: the Unity GenAI bullsh*t. For an engine that has easily allowed us to do so much of our game DIY with a completely in-house render pipeline and tons of in-house editor tools, it's insanely frustrating to see Unity pushing things so hard in the exact opposite direction.
Did she say she was kidding? Dev Lemons's workplace micro-romance video is a big hit this week at InfoWars HQ. Watch InfoWars HQ now: https://bit.ly/4AUe43X
Been working on Chisel (3D CSG level editor) again now and then. I improved the quality of the CSG implementation a lot using uses exact floating point arithmetic. All black mesa maps can be now imported w/o errors. Chisel now also has 'water' brushes
another momentous EGG Console drop next week: Magical Zoo's THE SCREAMER (PC88), the 1985 3D cyberpunk dungeon crawler known by some for its gnarly setting & hardcore chara-deleting permadeath system, and indirectly known by millions more the world over for 𝗗𝗘𝗛𝗨𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗭𝗘 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗘𝗟𝗙 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗕𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗗𝗦𝗛𝗘𝗗
I'm immensely proud to announce that my texture library that's been in the making for nearly a decade is now available on my itchio store for indie devs to purchase commercial licenses.

pleased to say i have solved scoring forever. banger, mid, and it sucks. but they're all separate scales. for example, halo: combat evolved. banger? yes. mid? no. it sucks? yes
without getting into debating the value of numerical scores at all, I have always kind of hated the way Metacritic assumes scores can be easily translated into their preferred scale
2/5 and 40/100 read extremely differently. in a very "$3 is $5 but $2 is free" kind of way
I mention it now and then, but the biggest mod scene you've never heard of is for Classic Tomb Raider.
The community is picky and weird about calling them 'levels', but almost all of those 'levels' are *fully standalone games* and some are as big as the originals.
There are THOUSANDS of them.
This is a great example of why you should disable Steam's dumb language filters. Most people are only seeing a random visual novel they never heard about with a couple of reviews.
It has over 10,000 reviews.
These filters do nothing except lock you in inside a bubble.
Sweet Home now has English, Japanese, Korean and Traditional Chinese localizations!
It is a queer visual novel about coming of age in a small Chinese town and has become a sensation since its release last August

It's worth mentioning that not all of Capcom's experiments have been hits! Kunitsu-gami was excellent but didn't sell much, and Exoprimal was a fun game hidden behind terrible marketing, confusing in-game messaging - Did you know it has HUGE setpiece boss fights and story? It kinda hides those away.
Capcom is going against the grain of western business practices:
- they use the success of their biggest franchises to do a lot of R&D on risky projects
- they bet on long-term goals
- they keep their people
- they try to be on the forefront of innovation instead of industrializing a formula
Take a break from being depressed that everything you love is being destroyed by slop for a moment and let me tell you about the beautiful symbiotic relationship between graffiti writers, train yard workers, and model train enthusiasts.
(thread thought) Post-cold war left wing philosophy isn't, broadly, about how to win the ideological war for a better tomorrow, it's a critique on why humans fail at achieving their ideals, altogether. It's an analysis of failure.
One of the most interesting developments coming out of China's growing game dev industry is that we're probably going to see more stories about China's fight against Japan in WWII, something many Japanese politicians refuse to even acknowledge happened.
A dear friend of mine has made a painting program from scratch. It's great, and has so much cool stuff. Unlike PS it's 1 buy and keep forever. And also it's brush engine is more fun.
It has a free trial to test out ofcourse.

Last month I mentioned having to get an operation to have an Odontogenic Myxoma removed. In the anxious and at times manic months leading up to said operation I wrote/recorded this instrumental metal album that I am now releasing for free. Enjoy! youtu.be/EUib__g9Sd0
Working prototype of a fake mirror effect in the WIP #counterstrike using matcap texture on a mesh surface with vertex normal editing. Resolution for these in this engine are very limited but I think I did the best I could.

its time for the return of my favourite implausibly recurring gundam bit: only one character has the idea of using basic tactics in a military conflict and this marks them as both remarkable and evil
