It's probably better to think of Elon Musk as, first and foremost, a white nationalist billionaire who works to spread racism and elect Republicans and, secondly, as someone who likes to blow up rockets in his spare time.

Vance supports the ad because, like all Republicans, he affirmatively supports the physical and sexual abuse of women and children. Like his fellow GOP electeds and their base, he thinks it's good, he wants to see it continue, and he is working to ensure it continues through both word and deed.

Full quote is worse. Vance: “I am a little bit disgusted when I see Republicans across the country who are whining more about that ad... My message to my fellow elected Republicans: stop whining about an ad.”

I don't wanna COUCH my words here: I know JD Vance, his eyeliner, and absent Ashley Moody are used to running away from people when things get tough because they care more about themselves and their billionaire buddies than the people they represent. But this is my home. /1

JD Vance on Angie Nixon: "Get the hell out of here. You don't belong in America"

Lump it in with the classic buzzwords that let you know you’re dealing with a moron: “Woke/DEI” as a pejorative, “western culture/civilization”, “radical Islamism/Sharia law”

Patrick Monahan@pattymo.com

The “super intelligence” thing is useful in the sense that if someone calls AI that you know you are dealing with a TURBO bozo

"they're coming for birth control" is not alarmism, that is absolutely next on the agenda I have my doubts on how successful it'll be but they're going to make a real go of it

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

MURRAY: The Trump admin falsely labeled birth control as abortion. Do you agree that an IUD is an abortifacient? OVERTON: If confirmed, I'll be fully briefed M: That's not an answer. The prospect of an FDA commissioner who doesn't know that birth control isn't an abortion is deeply alarming O: 😊

A fascist loving trillionaire with a pedophile robot is bankrolling the Republican Party and the opposition won’t say anything about it.

i am genuinely bewildered by people who say that the rise of white nationalism in the republican party is a response to the "woke left." like, did the woke left cause pat buchanan's 1992 presidential campaign? is the woke left why steve king had a long career in congress?

Yet another issue where every single person who touched it needs to end up in jail for us to have any semblance of the rule of law. You cannot have a functional democracy where the government creates a plan to literally throw away votes from places that don't support the incumbent party.

This is pretty fucking wild. I had assumed in a worst case scenario he would target blue zip codes and toss ballots based on technicalities but this is even worse than I imagined.

Nathan Tankus@nathantankus.bsky.social

Ben Gvir posted this video on twitter today which shows fat and happy Palestinians on a conveyer built going through the Israeli "prison" (torture camp) system and coming out emaciated and maudlin. This is textbook genocidal content.

I know this is radical but maybe the party with the antisemitism problem is the one that can't stop with the Nazi shit, rather than the one who has a handful of outlier candidates with this crazy notion to stop using our tax money on bombs we know will be used to murder children.

Some members of the American Nazi Party are seeing a pattern between being in a Nazi Party and seeing members of your Nazi party post Nazi images.

I think it's bad that the Democrats' House leader is having secret chummy meetings with a guy doing a domestic ethnic cleansing operation and funding a genocide abroad, then spending his entire week going on cable news to complain about a lefty Twitch streamer who nobody knows. Sorry for offending.

Perry reposted

The Democrats who are talking about Hasan Piker more than Donald Trump are just proving us lefties' case that these folks care *far* more about disciplining us than defeating fascism.

none of the people calling ossoff sexist think women are biologically capable of flying planes

Adam Serwer@adamserwer.bsky.social

the play here is to make ossoff defensive by calling him sexist, something liberals care about but they don't. The problem is, they *used* to pretend to care and now they're like "let's rip up anti-discrimination law, repeal the 19th and force most women to be homemakers" bsky.app/profile/matt...

American lives & institutions really are deeply shaped by identity-based prejudice and disadvantage, particularly regarding race and gender. People didn’t like to hear this; partly because some of the people saying so were self righteous and annoying, but mostly because it implicates us all morally.

Nothing PBD has ever said is even worth listening to, let alone reporting on. Weapons-grade stupidity

Conservatives claim they want to use the dormant Comstock Act to end online ordering of abortion pills, but that's hiding the ball. They can't just limit this sweeping law to mifepristone and misoprostol—it would end all in-clinic abortions too, as @maryrziegler.bsky.social told @autonomynews.co

Autonomy News@autonomynews.co

NEW: Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America had remained silent amid growing calls to enforce the 19th-century law as an abortion ban. That silence ended on Friday. If the Comstock Act bans shipments of abortion drugs, it also prohibits sending supplies to clinics—effectively a total national ban
