Q: What's going on with Marty Makary? TRUMP: Nothing much. He's fine. Q: Are you going to fire him? TRUMP: Uhhh. I've been reading about it, but I know nothing about it.

R.J. Reynolds met with Trump...Trump immediately folds on tobacco wishes authorizing fruit flavored vapes... gets rid of the FDA guy who was blocking. Blocking it becuase attracts minors. Fruit/Sweet: increase rates of asthma, bronchitis, and lung function. Impairs the immune response in the lungs

I think we ought to make the guys responsible for approving bad stuff do the bad stuff they’re approving. They can bask in the glow of their sun tanning beds while swilling mango flavored e-cig crap.

Ah, the "I know nothing about it". From the pool of "never met her", "didn't see it", "didn't know", "nobody told me" etc. Corporate media then forgets all about it. Any follow-up on which former president he spoke to about his war with Iran? They all denied it. The CEO of Sharpie perhaps?

TRUMP: Uhhh. I've been reading about it, but I know nothing about it. Actually, I've been caught up in another situation I've been reading about, and here's thoughts and prayers that Dick and Jane find Spot....

It pisses me off when news anchors here in Australia report on, and dissect the latest things he has said as if he’s an actual world leader. He isn’t, he’s a conman and doesn’t have a clue about statesmanship - only the art of the con.

If one were to "read" about something, then one would know something about what one claimed to "read". Trump thinks "reading about" but "knowing nothing about" is a flex like acing a cognitive test.

This explains why they had to turn the President’s Daily Brief into a picture book and why his daily update on the Iran “excursion” was a video of things being blown up.

His M.O. is to give very specific orders to all his minions, then disavow any knowledge of what he said. When things go badly, he blames them. When things go well, he gloats about what a great president he is. The buck stops wherever he says it does, because none of his crew would dare defy him.

“I’ve been reading about it” is one of his usual fallbacks when he get a question where he knows he’s out of his depth but it makes absolutely no sense when the question is “are you going to fire him?”. They’re asking YOU! You don’t need to be “reading about it”, just tell us.

“I know nothing about it” means he knows everything about it. One of his “go to” excuses not to answer a question. But from experience we know better.

“I’ve been reading about it”. That is the answer to the question “are you going to fire xyz”. And 30% or so of people out there don’t see a problem with this. He answers every question the same way. We know he doesn’t read, so that is not true. The man doesn’t care or is unable to understand.

No questions on his corruption: no questions on his self dealing: no questions on his sons getting drone contracts: no questions on taking money for pardons: no questions on his lies about the ballroom: no questions on his lies about the damage to US bases. What is the point of having journalists!!

They’ll get fired and banned from the WH grounds. Come on y’all, it’s what he does. He wants journalists afraid to challenge him. He’s a lazy brain. He doesn’t appreciate debate. He doesn’t appreciate the seriousness of how the people are feeling and the questions we have.

We're in serious Reagan country. Ronnie, at the end of his second term answering all questions with the word "shoes". Ok, not really....but close. Trump has abdicated all governance to his Fox and Fiends handlers. He's just a gold statue on a lawn.
