Trump: "It's signed. I signed it in Versailles. I just signed it."

Aside from trump, I have never loathed, despised or detested a fellow human being in my entire life, as much as I do him. Every picture, video, or audio of him gives me the same feeling as stepping in dog poop. Or worse. He is a disgrace, and is a clear sign of how far our nation has fallen.

I'm NOT defending the regime but your making the same argument the repugnant-cans use and used against Obama [it was US money]. The money is NOT US money, but frozen assets of Iran's. ABSOLUTELY little donny dick-tator is a war mongering moronic idiotic Dunning-Kruger asshat, but it's not our money

I've heard Obama released frozen assets to Iran. Their money. If Trump gives them 300 billion, I believe that's from federal tax $$ deducted from Americans paychecks that funds the defense fund, you know, the industrial military complex used to make Republican senators wealthy under the table.

Just here waiting for the campaign emails. "Now! Get your very own, auto-pen signed copy of Donald Trump's: The Treaty of Versailles v. 2.0 only $99.95!" * * Billed to you monthly in perpetuity. We's MAGAing now, Babe!

Trump put himself in a catch22 position when he started the Iran War. In Versailles, he admitted defeat. If he continued the war, he would only face a bigger loss.

That wasn't Nazi Germany, that war was completely bullshit tbh. Germany wasn't even at fault like the US is today, and where nazis originated from. Hitler loved America more than Germany.

I would say I hope this glaring, global example of how he is NOT any kind of dealmaking genius shatters is soul so much he just withers up and expires... but that would require him to have a soul.

Surely at least one person in his entourage recognized the symbolism of signing something like this at Versailles. Maybe they told him and he thought it was perfect that Iran surrendered at Versailles.

Look up the Treaty of Versailles. WWI Gernany signed an unconditional surrender at Versailles. It's history goes back before the French Revolution in the 1790's. The King and Queen and their families were taken from Versailles and sent to the guillotine.

World leaders continue to disappoint, they continue to embrace Trump, hugs and kisses exchanged, for what? Macron and Mark Carney going out of their way to make nice for trade deals that never materialize. The world knows he’s in the E. Files, an adjudicated assaulter, a felon, and a liar, and yet..

You can't do the sorts of things you and I would do, if you're the president of a country. You have to consider the ramifications of even being rude to someone who wields the kind of power the US president does.

Most of the world is sick of hearing his name, watching his behaviour and enduring how it affects lives globally. World leaders have quietly gathered resources together to ensure that we remain standing. I’m over the devil you know game too, but the alternative becomes our ending. Patience.

I believe Macron arranged for the Treaty of Versailles. (He) is completely unaware of any of the context of anything in this entire world. However, the rest of the world knows history.

He still has the power to further hurt other countries, especially those who were traditionally allies. They tread a fine line, trying to fend off further damage while putting in place strategies that will ultimately make the US far less influential in the world.

Just real tired of the excuses, I can understand at first why leaders were treading carefully, now not so much. none of it is necessary, and so over the top. Trump is a felon on 34 counts. An adjudicated assaulter, none of it seems to matter. There is no strategic value imo.

Until he stops being protected by those around him & by GOP politicians he can still cause a lot of damage to UK, Europe and NATO. He’s more erratic than ever and more vindictive. It takes time to disengage from America as the strongest military country in NATO and get our own military beefed up.

Exactly. This will affect his standing with maga in no way whatsoever. They have no more idea what the Treaty of Versailles is than he does. Zero.

So Cheese eating surrender monkey, Donald Neville Chamberlain Trump sign their Surrender To The Great Iranian Empire who defeated America, peace treaty in Versailles I forgot, was one of Trump's campaign promises to make Iran great again?

French Prime Minister Daladier signed the Munich agreement on behalf of France. France was thought to be the strongest European military power at the time. Why does Chamberlain take the rap? UK declaration of war in 1939 was as effective in stopping Hitler as it would have been in 1938

Macron really showing how its done. Humiliation on an "epic fury" scale. Trump has no idea how absolutely weak he looks signing his surrender there. He's too stupid to realize.

I feel like Macron tricked him into this. Someone told him about the treaty of Versailles and joked his could be better and he liked the ring if that. Maybe JD planted the idea in his pea soup brain Either way this will come back to haunt him.... Bwahahaha Everything trump touches ....
