JD Vance: "My 6-year-old gives me a hug and says, 'Daddy, I didn't steal any of the cookies!' Of course he stole the cookies. So when I hear a guy protesting out of nowhere, 'I did not do any election fraud! I did not do any fraud!' It makes me wonder, why is that guy protesting so aggressively?"

“Protesting out of nowhere” Who in the world is he talking about? They haven’t arrested people for election fraud because it’s so rare

...but when my son shows me documented proof that no cookies were stolen by him or anyone else, of course I ignore that, call him a liar, and send him to bed without dinner. Then I sit down and figure out ways that I can steal cookies for myself.

So what I take away from that is Vance ate the cookies in this hypothetical story as well as the cats and the dogs. If he “protests”, we should be asking why he is denying it. That’s how we know guilt right? Forget evidence, logic, reason.

Do people really listen to this horse’s ass? Seriously? The GOP is made up entirely of the most idiotic public speakers I’ve ever heard. Education has failed this country.

Out of nowhere?!?!? Trump, Vance and the entire administration keep yelling voter fraud, rigged, lawsuits against Democratic states, lawsuits to get voter rolls, pushing we need the SAVE America Act. Our response is a reasonable we are not committing fraud. Who’s the one admitting guilt?

WTF? MAGAt Mango Messiah and his Aryan Apostles: Scream "election fraud" and "rigged" about every single election result they don't like. Also MAGAt Mango Messiah and his Aryan Apostles: "Why all those people saying "there was no election fraud" and "elections aren't rigged"? Seems sus..."

DJT hired two firms to investigate “election fraud” in 2020. He didn’t like the results , so he didn’t release any info found as promised at a press conference . DJT’s lawyers would not testify under oath with 60+ court cases, to the claims MAGA teams made.

Methinks this is JD Vance protesting too much. bsky.app/profile/atru...

Does he not realize he’s nearly quoting Trump in saying, “I did not do any election fraud!” Also, why is he having another child when he clearly hates his kids? Now his 6-year-old is being described as a liar, and he’s suggesting kids who lie never stop lying.

The public doesn't understand how these people operate. This is why every book club in the U.S. shd read @mkonnikova.bsky.social 's The Confidence Game, a history of con artists. Also Babiak's Snakes in Suits. And Hoffer's classic The True Believer And @brianklaas.bsky.social 's book

The whole point of a story like this is that his kids would bring up stealing the cookies unprompted, but like 60 seconds later he admits that his party is the one talking about election fraud!

Woah maybe he's on to something here. Now let's apply the same logic to those who keep protesting the Epstein files. And Russian election interference while we're at it

My first thought. Also. He is nothing more than an opportunist raising his son to be just like him. When my kids were 6 and I felt like I was the only person in the world who was trying to raise them to be accountable, a wise person counseled me to remember: brats beget brats. The circle of life.

It's weirdly all about kids with these sicko's. And it's never about feeding them, clothing them, educating them, getting them stable home environments. No, never that. Yet kids are always on their minds.

Your six-year-old is lying to you because he learned it from you. You suspect everyone else of dishonesty because you are pathologically dishonest. It’s simple. A six-year-old could understand it.

It says more about his parenting and his child’s fear of telling the truth than any real world comparison. He can see the cookie is missing but can’t provide any evidence of voting irregularities that would impact an election. One is not like the other

Someone has a very shallow grasp on the evolution of child rearing... If a liar says, there's mass voter fraud, but his lawyer goes into court & says he's not alleging voter fraud & his other lawyers lose a bunch of voter fraud claims, then withdraws a case 1 day before trial, I know they're lying

What's really galling is that he knows better. He is purposefully talking down to their base. And they gobble it up. Instead of educating them, their goal is to keep them ignorant

Of course he stole the cookies? Really JD! Poor kid. I can't imagine being brown and having a white supremist as a father and a self-hating mother.

What a jerk. His comparisons to his personal life, really make you wonder. Although if you read his book, he didn't have much by way of parental examples. The book was frankly terrifying if you are a woman.
