Yes, hi, actually I'm less rattled than I want John Roberts publicly and officially burned to death for treason, since he got rid of the geneva convention as well.

Remember, Roberts cut his teeth working for racist anti-voting hack Rehnquist. And he was nominated to SCOTUS by Bush2. The attack on American values is a long-term Republican project. Roberts is among its key leaders. Trump is just a convenient chaos agent.

Using big words to imply he is intelligent yet has not been able to apply the law to any court decisions. Can he explain the need for a shadow docket? Must be using the Constitution to wipe his backside since it has no other purpose.

Doesn’t this just mean the corrupted court does what the oligarchs want, and he’s attempting to reframe this in “normalizing” legalese?

If it was about the constitution, which it should be, there would be a lot more unanimous votes and similar understanding of it and the law. It wouldn't be undone or redone 60 or more years later for the benefit of some....not all.

Majoritarian? Because of each state, regardless of population, having 2 senators, the 2/3rds rule in the Senate, the Electoral College and gerrymandering, Minoritarian better describes the US federal political system. These factors also affect the selection of SCOTUS members.

Because they all are. They have no self-awareness, thus no other awareness, which is why they project their own corruptness on everybody else.

“Counter-majoritarian check” meaning defying our democracy on behalf of oligarchs currently overturning the rule of law. bsky.app/profile/cnn....

He has to be fucking kidding? This court has used their conservative leanings/beliefs to twist themselves into pretzels claiming to be upholding the Constitution. The biggest of those was giving a president immunity. Fuck him.

I think Americans keep faith in the constitution but the corrupted SCOTUS lead by John Roberts himself doesn't respect the constitution they are supposed to protect. We trust the constitution but we don't the corrupted judges who are promoting authoritarianism instead of constitutional democracy.

“A counter-majoritarian check?” So we’re about to hear all about the divine right of the 1% to rule over the majority? Fuck off john Roberts. You could have been a hero in this saga. You chose villain - protector of child rapists and thieves.

Hello! I would like to provide you with a case of "institutional identity death" that has lasted for 13 years in China: due to wrong registration by the police, a citizen has been silently excluded from all socioeconomic systems since he became an adult - unable to work, open an account, or travel.

The official has admitted the mistake, but refused to correct it, creating an "infinite institutional loop" that cannot be prosecuted. It has become a sharp example of examining rights, market foundations and governance effectiveness in the digital age.

All evidence has been prepared, including official documents admitting the mistake. Interested friends can contact me, signal: xhy304.86

Somebody tell this smart def dumb blind smart MFKR. That his opinion means about as much as the last shit I took. SCOTUS installs Republican Presidents. No Bush No 9/11 No Traitor Trump. 25yrs of SHIT! 💩 #GOP #Treason #Fascism FYI they literally gave SCOTUS NASCAR jackets in the 70’s. So GTFOH!

And by “counter-majoritarian check” he means overturning lower courts without explanation to give the president and majority party what they want.

A Supreme Court that constantly accepts free houses and yacht vacations and luxury travel from billionaires is not “independent”. Roberts is a murderous sociopath whose legacy is destruction and suffering. What a gigantic loser.

Roberts has to be joking if he's implying the Courts impartiality. The GOP members of the Court appear to be all in on pleasing Trump. Constitution or Trump's Project 2025. Roberts is a disgrace!

I have more faith in parts of the federal judiciary than I do with the supreme court who is every bit as partisan as the country and is making bold changes to the law regardless of prior reasoning, and at times offering no reasoning.

Give me a break! We would like Roberts and his conservative cabal to read what the Constitution acutally says. I have faith in the Constitution. It's the Roberts' Court and its deliberately erroneous interpretations that worry me.

The only independence this radical justice has is from constitutional precedence already set by years of previous litigation.

The man who gutted the Voting Rights Act, who allowed limitless corporate money to saturate American politics, and who decided that the current president needed to be above the law (something the other 46 never needed) wants everyone to keep faith with the document he's spent 20 years degrading.

Why exactly should we keep faith with the Constitution when the nazi-led SCOTUS keeps allowing tRump to wipe his ass with it? SCOTUS has turned the Constitution into an unattainable abstract fantasy.

Judicial independence? The selection process for judges is highly politicised and as a result has inevitably become corrupted. If you want judicial independence the selection process must be depoliticised.

CROCK OF BULLSHIT! Effen fool! Thinks WE are stupid! He overturns "Settled Law", tramples the Constitution for political gains! He WILL get judged harshly! Hopefully with disbarment and prison time!

I refuse to believe his is this willfully obtuse. Sad thing, there are easily 3 justices worse than him. We need a constitutional court -- 13 justices, and apply 18-year term limits so John Roberts can ride the circuit and hear my cases so he can feel more useful.

Faith in the constitution? That's easy to say when you're not threatened with violence and oppression because your family or friends has minorities inside: gays, trans, 1st Gen immigrant, dark skin etc. I'd have more faith in the constitution if a traitorous pedophile wasn't president.

"Counter-majoritarian check" can be read as "Be sure Republicans have their way" "The Constitution doesn't really say anything except what we say it does" "People shouldn't expect democracy in a democracy" 🙄
