I have some friends traveling who hate what they have seen about ICE, but then said they appreciated when they actually engaged with them at airports as they expedited lines, held people’s spots so they could go to the bathroom, gave out water etc. Seems like this PR stunt is helping their image.

Of course they’re doing nothing. TSA staff have 120 hours of classes on how to spot danger, operate scanners, and protect travelers’ rights. ICE goons only know harassment and detention. They’re going to start harassing travelers and asking for papers. But don’t dare call them Gestapo.
