There is no reason for a person wealth to go beyond 1 billion, before that, fine, get your bag. After that, is in a way wasted money hoarded around doing nothing, not circulating, not stimulating the world economy as the definition of capitalism says (on paper).

To them, money isn't real. Their "net worth" number is like a high score, and they want the highest number. They don't like it when the government "takes more". Many also don't like to pay for things, or even pay their bills. Some use bankruptcy to legally walk away from bills, legally.
