I want more people to see and appreciate these wonderful creatures, returning to our shores. You can travel the world and not see a greater wildlife spectacle than you can here, hard by the coast. Let's see the boats now taking people out to catch them instead taking people out to watch them.

Google is updating its satellite images of Gaza. The comprehensiveness of effort required to reduce an urban landscape to this is beyond imagining. Literal carpet bombing.

Please watch this VIDEO: The media is deliberately ignoring Andy Burnham’s Transphobic Section 28+ now imposed on schools. A lot of trans children are being bullied, victimized, abused and harmed at school by the government’s transphobic “KCSIE” diktats. Many are now school refusing…

Heartbreaking VIDEO for all my cis followers on here (please share with any other cis people you may know) It’s about Andy Burnham’s new Transphobic Section 28 in schools and the harm caused to one trans child as a result. I never say this but I will now; Please watch don’t scroll.

Ed Davey has been speaking a lot of sense! He is right when he says it is wrong for people like Elon Musk to interfere in our politics. Not to mention the odious money grabbing Farage who needs to be prevented from getting anywhere near number 10.

“Legitimate concerns“ rhetoric & increasing restrictions on migrants’ rights have led directly to Piddlington & to RNLI staff being doxxed as traitors. My father's friend John went for a swim in a river in the late 1940s and when he got out he started feeling stiff... It was polio and for the rest of his life he was in a wheelchair. Why anyone would want to go back to that on the bad advice of a truly stupid former heroin addict is beyond me.

Robert Reich@rbreich.bsky.social

I'm old enough to remember when polio put my friends into iron lungs. We dutifully lined up at school to get vaccinated. We eradicated the disease. We protected the common good and saved lives. What RFK Jr. is doing to public health in America is a disgrace.
