I am frustrated by hearing that if something is important, it's ok to get the facts wrong as long as the message is right. I understand that when angry, we reach for hyperbole. But please try to pause before posting to check whether you've made any mistakes. Why be wrong when you could be right?

If you like AI, it's fine. Do your thing. Even if we would like to, we cannot stop you. Your side has literal trillions of dollars behind it and we are just posters. But please stop trying to convince the world that your hobby/interest is actually social justice. It's tiresome and transparent.

It really is okay to have opinions and preferences without having to convince yourself and the world that your thing is actually morally and politically correct

my nuclear-grade AI hot take that’s sure to get me cancelled until kingdom come is that refusing to use AI at all is rapidly becoming an extremely privileged lifestyle choice that feels social justice-y while actually being the complete opposite

In the most recent Pew survey, 49% of people say they ever use AI chatbots and 51% say they never use them. Those that do use them are much more likely to be higher income and have more education. To argue that not using AI is privilege isn't a "hot take," it is just objectively wrong.

honestly I kind of think if you can't think to come up with a plan for an arena for a clinching game before three days out, maybe you lose that home game altogether idk

A friend of mine found MULTIPLE uses of the fake word in that Google Docs suggestion above online in articles that seem AI generated. AI is chipping away at language as a coherent and beautiful communication tool by and for human beings.

If Democrats actually win big because people want a check on Trump corruption I expect every move to do so will be covered in the corporate media as being risky to their 2028 position.

In MAGA, parental estrangement is a big issue — and parents are held out as blameless victims. I suspect that's one reason why Vivek Ramaswamy ran an ad celebrating Amy Acton's vile mother. And why MAGA — including Vance and Trump — are backing him. www.salon.com/2026/10/23/r...

The first genuinely honest ad for generative AI I've ever seen, from Microsoft / CoPilot A mediocre white guy sees his non-white colleague getting praised for good work, he asks AI to *literally copy it*, and then he gets all the praise instead: www.ispot.tv/ad/SoDi/micr...
