This is very tiresome. Everton fans did not boo Martinez. See my contemporaneous post below. They were booing the odious poverty-chanting of an idiotic subsection of the Chelsea fans. bsky.app/profile/stuc...
Poverty chanting from Chrlsea 'fans' while Martinez is being treated.

This is nothing less than a battlefield intervention by the US in favour of Russia.
⚡️ 'Planned operation' — Zelensky confirms Ukraine's Starlink access not fully restored. Zelensky called the restrictions a "planned operation" targeting Ukraine, noting that Starlink speed limits remain in effect in Ukraine but not in EU countries.

Liverpool's defeat leaves Everton & Brentford as the last two of the 134 league clubs in England & Scotland to remain undefeated in competitive football during the Burnham premiership
After a long international break, and a draw at Hull City, Everton remain undefeated in competitive football since Andy Burnham became the Evertonian Prime Minister on 20th July 2026. (So are Liverpool and Brentford still undefeated under Burnham)

This is a truly grotesque "trial" of a vaccine known to be safe and effective. It will in practice randomly withhold that treatment from a percentage of children to see what happens. It is absolutely the reverse of good practice.
“The children who are randomly selected not to receive the birth dose of the vaccine, those who “lost the lottery”, face in their earliest days the risk of contracting hepatitis B, which can cause irreversible lifelong damage.” No words. I am speechless. This violates all ethical boundaries.
Unlike Sunder I'm not surprised. Sullivan has been getting a lot wrong for a long time.
"Olukemi Olufunto Badenoch herself is foreign-born" Surprised to see Andrew Sullivan get so much wrong here. Wrong on fact of birth. Does not seem to know this is a racist meme, not clever wordplay. Believes bullshit projection of white minority. Quite wrong on public views too in several ways.

In other words, a 10 percent contraction in one of Britain’s most successful exports. If it were steel or fish or other infinitely less profitable sectors, people would be having a meltdown.

According to MIT News, Margaret Hamilton died at the age of 90. "A profoundly influential computer scientist best known for leading the software engineering team at MIT’s Instrumentation Lab during NASA’s Apollo program". This famous photo 🔽 inspired the For All Mankind character Margo Madison.

Iain Dale said he had never heard the word "ethnonationalism" until a couple of years ago on his show. "It's a posh word for racist, basically", I suggest. LBC have put that on X x.com/LBC/status/2...

I have questions, beginning with: 1. Does he understand how a "synthetic AI focus group" works? 2. Does he understand what focus groups should actually be used for? (TBF it appears a large part of the political class/media have the wrong answer for Q2).
I hosted an in-conversation with AI minister Kanishka Narayan at Labour conference We covered a lot of ground... He said there was too much AI “doomerism” in Westminster And revealed he has used synthetic AI focus groups to gauge public opinion on a range of topics 1/9

Intrigued to see the Conservative conference will feature a speech on "press freedom" next week while they ban lobby journalists such as @josiahmortimer.bsky.social from attending their conference.
Kemi Badenoch condemned Reform's ban on critical journalists covering their conference as "authoritarian", saying her own party would never do the same as "we believe in free speech. We believe in a free press." Now the Conservatives have banned Byline Times from their conference
