“You’re gonna find out” — Trump on if he’s planning to strike Venezuela

The jobs numbers are poor and the red state farmers were making it known the economic policies are making it impossible for them to break even on their operating costs, much less make a profit. It makes sense he would manufacture an external crisis as a distraction.

guess he’s hearing the ‘Noble peace prize’ vote isn’t going well so let’s attack a country and for some reason it’s not beyond the realm of believability that he would go nuclear on this country, why should Truman have all the glory

History will boo Trump and everyone in his feckless administration. All those around him and in media who placate his unlawful power grabs…the shameless Republicans in Congress who lie for him and propagate his racism multiplied by pedophilia to the power of incompetence.

Maybe soldiers will start disobeying? Or is Leavenworth still worse than getting blown up/shot to death by Venezuelans? They do seem to view court martials as worse than death. Regime change means infantry on the ground getting shot and killed by other soldiers.

I think Trump is the first president who doesn't try to rally the American people to support his wars. He just decides to bomb a country without making a case for it

Because that's exactly how a "peacemaker" would respond when asked whether they're going to perform a military strike on another country without a declaration of war or even a provocation. Two Scoops is never getting a Nobel Peace Prize.

FELON/Sexual Predator/Dictator-wannabe Trump thinks he can order the killings of anyone & get the United States into a war because he knows his spineless sycophant Republicans in Congress won't do anything to stop him. #Venezuela

This might sound a little out there, but I'm honestly wondering if Trump's actions are aimed at producing a counter-insurgency situation in Venezuela (possibly set in motion attacks at home by sympathizers) thereby justifying the use of Palantir's technology to this effect... (cont'd) 1/

... while this assumes an invasion of Venezuela, it would create something like Gaza in Venezuela at minimum, and possibly even at home. Many have suspected the technology used by Israel in Gaza would eventually be brought elsewhere, and some powerful types have wondered... (cont'd) 2/

Is Venezuela in danger? Does Venezuela have oil? Venezuela is in danger. The NeoCons rebranded. That's all. The wealthy are still pulling the same strings in the children's puppet show we call American Politics.

That's definitely correct but I’m not convinced he’ll go for a full messy invasion,l..However we might well see the familiar CIA routine of “the opposition calls for urgent assistance”. Rather like in Iraq – those oil reserves are quite the prize.

Of course not, they won't invade— but that’s not the point. It’s a distraction, dressed up with military “successes” to divert the patriotic crowd’s attention from domestic problems to the supposed glory of US armed forces in action ,(against anmeasy target).

You don't send multiple Navy Destroyers, ~4000 troops & 10 F-35s to the region if your goal is to just murder people in small boats. "You're gonna find out." = I want Kegsbreath to start a war.

This is a massive criminal syndicate operating globally! At the core is financial crimes with blackmail extortion sex trafficking arms deals and so much more going on in order to further the primary aim of stealing money and securing absolute power. They will do all in their power to not go down.

Oh let’s just joke about going to war. After all it is just sooo funny. This bozo has his finger on the button and he might mistake it for his Diet Coke button. You know, just a little administrative error.

Maduro is kind of a scummy weirdo. He's not a very good leader and people don't seem to care for him. So I can't think of anything BETTER for him than a doomed US police action. Nothing says "see i was right all along, America is out to get us" quite like America coming to get you.

It doesn't hurt that, be it from his own involvement or the declining competency of military leadership, Trump's interventions have all gone really bad Like when he used a $200,000 bomb to not disable a Syrian airfield, or missed Iran's Uranium enrichment bunker with a quarter of our bunker busters

They don’t like Maduro, but they really hate all the neoliberals we’ve been trying to shove into place for the last two and a half decades. Before Chavez took over they had the lowest life expectancy in Central or South America, the lowest literacy rate, highest maternal and child mortality rates…

The Nobel committee doesn't give out a "war prize." If they did, he still shouldn't get it because he sucks at it. Ooooh... He murdered an unarmed boat... Sorry, the winner has to be good at it. By that standard, I nominate Zelensky for still having a country.
