That's the full amount they charged my insurance co.; I paid around $350 of it. A contrast MRI is comprised of 2 procedures: placing the dye in the muscle & then doing the actual MRI. So maybe that's why the $$$🤷‍♀️? I was taken aback by the bill, but, not too surprised. This is in the Northeast, USA

I have an American friend who lives in U.K. She came here for an MRI because she said she would have had to wait 8 months for an appt. Let's not pretend health care in Britain is anything to brag about.

Oz really is some sick bastard. Here in Australia sub adults are encouraged to counselling, then suggested to live gender they prefer and only considered for surgery once an adult. An exception requiring surgery is a child with ambiguous gender at birth, but dna and other procedures before action.

It's indicative of a deeper, more pervasive mental disease within that political party. The fact that so many who hail from the GOP are often arrested for molestation, etc., is just one symptom of a larger underlying problem.

I wonder if there is research into the brains of pedophiles. Is there a physical cause for that abnormal behavior. Can it be found genetically? Can it be prevented? How much of it is environment/ upbringing? Even, like, MRIs. Is their brain physically different from the average person?

Hand to God! Less than .02% of kids born intersexed. And of those, most won’t seek/need major surgery. Understanding, love and compassionate medical care, yes. They love to bring up thousands of dollars to scare the straights. Make them think that’s where their tax dollars go Dr Oz is WHACK!
