Our politicians and many of the "elite" abandoned us. This country is not the country we thought it was. It has failed and we can't expect the people who got us here to bring it back. We need new faces, new leaders, new ideas, and we have to demand it loudly and constantly.

I expect a deluge of memes of democrat/liberal politicians/figures non-consensually undressed to wear micro-bikinis to hit X. I expect within two weeks an invasion of Greenland since international condemnation of the illegal Venezuela invasion to be tepid at best.

Having a veto proof majority of Democrats in both houses of Congress would help to protect against the worst parts, I think. But it's very difficult to achieve in the midterms or in one election.

Yes, impeachment and removal is the only path forward. It removes the entire administration, which is necessary to get the Heritage Foundation OUT of most of our policy making. They've gotten much farther into Project 2025 than I expected them to be able to do by 2026. This must stop.

Dems & Independents need to start running people for ALL uncontested seats in Congress. So far. I found two house seats in KY (one is 87 yrs old!), and one in Georgia for ‘26. KY relies heavily on Medicaid that Repubs cut. I only looked for a few min, but every seat counts.
