Trump struggles to clasp the Medal of Honor to Major Nicholas Dockery -- and then ties it?

I'll foxspin it for you. He's actually a genius, most people don't know you can tie a ribbon. Same people that didn't know that dumb has a b at the end of it

I’m absolutely not going to give an 80 year old with evident neuropathy a hard time for not being able to work that fucking clasp. His entire team of handlers are assholes for letting him try it, let alone on camera, but then, he certainly hasn’t surrounded himself with caring individuals.

Maybe but IDT anyone can tell him anything. IDT it's neuropathy. I remember at least 2 other times & it looked to me like he just couldn't figure out how the clasp works. The person who stepped in did it in a second, so maybe a snap. It's probably why he has to keep taking dementia measurements.

He probably cannot see the snaps well enough due to presbyopia and not wearing glasses for near vision (due to vanity). Possibly he wears some sort of monovision contact lenses but that would not give him good depth perception especially for fine visual tasks.

The difficulty he evinces every time he picks something up or tries manipulating small objects. His notoriously weak grip. The fact that he keeps bumping his hands into things because he can’t feel them. I see it frequently with older colleagues and relatives who are dealing with neuropathy.

He's not bumping his hand. It's the same spot that appears about or exactly on the same day of the month each month. One month it was on the other hand, probably hoping to stop citizens from noticing. Some say drugs used to slow dementia need IV delivery, usually in the hand.

Ok, my husband has neuropathy in his feet so I understand some of the symptoms and it’s very painful and debilitating and worsens if you don’t follow healthy eating habits. I guess it can affect hands as well as feet. Thank you!

Exactly. This is something staff should handle - except Trump would probably insist he won't have any trouble. You have the medal's recipent's wife / girl friend, or his mother, or his Senator, or his commanding officer, or Hegseth.

Not the first time this has happened. You'd think they would use magnets as clasps to help their Dear Leader from embarrassing himself.

The question is, does he get someone to fix this while still at the event or does he pull a Rubio-walking-in-oversized-shoes and have this thing choking him til he gets home??

Yes? And how does this correlate in any way to Trump? He’s not funny nor is he a comedian. This isn’t physical comedy. It’s disgusting, foul, creepy behavior from a pedophile psychopath rapist.

lol, he turned presenting a medal into a cognitive exam. And failed it. tbf, it's gotta be pretty hard to work one of those little clasps with hands that look like two pounds of raw hamburger and fingers like spoiled sausages.

And remember those on charge would have checked/assessed/rehearsed Trumps ability to do a simple clasp - making it as simple as possible for him. This is the best he can be in front of cameras, with the most support & medical intervention and he is failing.

Imagine how embarrassing this as to be for Major Dockery. One of the highest honors awarded for military service being ruined by whatever this is. Imagine the officiant fumbling this bad on your wedding day.

That’s an insult to toddlers! Seriously. As soon as I saw this clip, my first thought was, “My two-year-old nephew has the neurological development, intelligence, and find motor skills to handle that clasp with no problem!”🤦🏻‍♀️

Man, he looks like death warmed over. Y'ALL IN WASHINGTON, STOP WARMING HIM OVER! He's starting to look like death would be a sweet release from that fleshy prison of rot.

The thought I have every time I see him: the greedy, corrupt Republicans think that no matter how sick their standard bearer is, no matter how much of an embarrassment he causes the people of this country, we’re going to just sit back & let him. His enablers—including his family—are as bad as him.

Absolutely. Also: 3. if any of his handlers suggested he should practice it—because it IS a momentous occasion—he would've thrown a tantrum. 4. He doesn't—and cannot—care what it means to the recipient because that takes empathy and humility.
