I initially read that as "Federal" swine & thought that. I understand about the feral swine, too, though. They're difficult to eradicate.

Very very liberal guy here but can we get over this funding crap? There’s always enough money to do anything give anyone the tax break they want AND fully fund social services. THERE’S ALWAYS ENOUGH MONEY TO GO AROUND!!! BTW only 22% of the defense budget actual goes to the soldiers.

The government kind of has to pay the bill for the bridge because if we wait for someone in the ownership chain of the ship that crashed into it to pay we’re gonna be waiting a few decades for the court cases to shake out.

All of these are reasonable expenditures for the federal government of a country with the largest economy in the world.

The pay raises are useful too since Congress hasn’t had one in 15 years and a Congress where you can’t afford to serve unless you’re a multi-millionaire is not a Congress that looks out for most Americans.

$3 million is almost nothing in the context of a federal budget or spending bill. Highlighting that figure really illustrates what they think of their audience.

Also, $3 million is the equivalent of 7 cents if your family budget is $100,000
