Def expanse. Like em both, but felt the tail end of Galactica was weak, and would also have filler episodes throughout the series (to help pay for more CG heavy ones). Expanse, after season 1 never felt like had a moment wasted :)

The Expanse. But I'm biased as I loved the books & felt the show did a great job capturing them. Annnnnd....I've never seen a single BSG episode & probably should get around to rectifying that.

It has to be The Expanse. It's more grounded, it's character development is more detailed, and the story is more consistent. I love Battlestar Galactica too, but The Expanse explores both believable sci-fi and the intricacies of political power.

Unfair question. Both are amazing but BSG (2005) laid the ground work for space operas on a grand scale with more realistic space physics. Extra points to BSG because they got to finish their story.... but double points to The Expanse because Amos was so perfectly cast.

If Galactica had stuck the landing, it would have been Galactica. I loved the show. It came out at the perfect time for me (as I was living in halls of residence as a student), and I latched on to it with great enthusiasm... but the ending just... ugh.

Expanse. But it's not the fairest of choices, because The Expanse was based on a book series, so the show already had a 'start, middle, and end' planned, before it started Production. BSG felt like it was improvising some towards the finale.

I love both. However the last season of Expanse sucked root because it shorted the season and couldnโ€™t tell a complete story. They offโ€™d a central character because the actor did bad things with women and - while noble in real life - it lessened the quality in the end. So I have to give it to BSG.

Okay I'm going to break the trend and say Battlestar Galactica. I loved the politics and I used to double watch every new episode. I loved the Expanse as well but when it went to Amazon prime there were large gaps in my watching and the fractions were harder to follow.
