"RKF took money earmarked to provide health care for Black infants and spent it on his personal security detail" is a ludicrous headline. Comic book villainy.

It is a huge shame to see so much language attributing agency, intent and thought to a software program, when all that should be attributed to the humans who designed a dangerously clumsy and broken looping LLM. Means the companies won't be held accountable for designing a bad product

I’ve worked in IT for 26 years. The first ten were desktop support. A polo and a clipboard will get you let into places without verification that you’d NEVER guess. I’m including secure areas inside government installations that I was cleared for - but NO ONE checked. A black polo and a clipboard.

If I may: As a project manager, multiple times a day I need to understand and remember the things said during a meeting. Just take notes, right? Or - set up an agenticAI regimen that sucks in Teams transcripts, creates both detailed and executive summaries, and sends action item to stakeholders.
one thing i’ve been keeping to myself is that when people talk about automating their workflow i don’t know what that means
I switched to sardines and mackerel from tuna because it was cheaper (sometimes, sometimes I get the $15 speciality stuff cuz it’s yummy), healthier, and tastier. Now climate change has resulted in the devastation of Moroccan sardine and mackerel populations. It’s only getting worse from here.
Stopped at the grocery store and bought peanut butter and jelly, a loaf of bread, two cans of tuna, and mayo. Thirty dollars. This shit is insane.

Abolishing ICE is now the official position of the Democratic Party
Here are things that happened at the DNC today: 1) Resolution calling to abolish ICE unanimously adopted 2) Brand-new early state calendar that reflects the full diversity of the Democratic base 3) Rejection of insider efforts to ban RCV from being used in presidential primaries Great results here

I didn’t come anywhere near this when I was on the Roosevelt (‘87-‘90) - I think we hit like 85 straight days at sea. But even that was miserable. This is an abuse of the force and will have long term repercussions
There have reportedly been multiple attempts by sailors to jump overboard the USS Abraham Lincoln as poor conditions and mental stress reach a breaking point. The crew is in its ninth month at sea, and has spent 250 days consecutively without making land, a record
