I have done this in the past and its really rewarding. I went with an off the shelf mini PC and ran OPNsense in Proxmox but you can basically do this with any old PC, and really lightweight hardware or a compatible router if you run OpenWRT. aftermath.site/opnsense-pro...

It’s a hard moment to be someone who cares about stuff like wealth inequality and the climate crisis -- I mean, look at B.C. Luckily, I have some good news for you today!! At a time when governments are all but abandoning the fight against the climate crisis, the kids are fighting for us all:

This week’s main story is about how more and more white nationalists, antisemites, and Nazi sympathizers seem to be integrating into the Republican Party, how some of them are currently running for office, and how old you can be for JD Vance to consider you “a very young boy.”

I've loved computers since I was able to hold a controller. Growing up I learned technical skills because I wanted to play the latest Bioware,Bethesda and ArenaNet games. I still dream of developing a game one day, and am a software developer now because of gaming. The death of Bioware hits hard.

Looking for game devs who have been directly inspired by anything BioWare for my next video. I suspect the public likely doesn’t quite realize the extent of their influence on the industry, so I’d really like to highlight that. If you are one such game devs, pls reply to this post!

Being absolutely pedantic, the "block" on their supposed "path to prosperity" was the collapse of global oil prices in 2014. It had fuck all to do with Trudeau.

Aaron Wherry@aaronwherry.bsky.social

From Danielle Smith's address last night. At the risk of being pedantic, it seems worth noting that a) it wasn't a coalition and b) the confidence-and-supply agreement was only in place for two and a half years.

Albertans have officially voted not to hold a vote on whether they should leave Canada. But uh, they also narrowly voted *for* some really gross, anti-immigrant trash that looks to scapegoat migrants for problems they didn’t cause. So no to separatism, but yes to racism? Yikes:

Documents like these are insightful because they suggest the government is knowingly acting out of step with public opinion (and many of their own voters):

Are we gonna do this, Bluesky? Are we all just gonna not understand accounting? 72B$ of the 80B$ is convertible notes. They became greater liabilities because the company's valuation skyrocketed. They don't have an 80B$ loss in the sense that almost everyone here is imagining.

I’m hearing from friends in Alberta that today is actually hitting folks pretty hard. Not the vote to remain, which was a relief, but the other 9 questions.
