Born of star and storm, made of meat and scorn. The only just society is a bulwark for the vulnerable, and a bludgeon against the powerful. Capitalismi delenda est.

JEFFRIES: “.. we’re going to hold him accountable in the same way that we held Pam Bondi and Kristi Noem accountable. .. And Pete Hegseth needs to be pushed aside by the president, or we’re going to have to deal with that situation if he is not.” www.politico.com/live-updates...

This is why it is so important when making art to absolutely never consider your audience, and in fact to try and spite them as much as possible.
When trans creators are subtle, people dismiss the trans subtext as “headcanon.” When trans creators are loud and proud, people call it “obnoxious” and “cringe.” They just don’t want us to be represented in media at all. Because they don’t want us to exist at all.

Meta shut down No Kings in the middle of the protest, the company claims it was a "mistake". Every Meta "mistake" since Trump returned has benefited the far-right, that is no coincidence. https://crustnews.com/meta-shut-down-no-kings-in-the-middle-of-its-protest-then-changed-its-story/

“I have more money than god and decided to use AI to do something it learned how to do by stealing the skills crafted by human beings who used to be paid to do that work. I hope people will give me more money to watch that creative theft before deciding how they feel about it.”
Ava DuVernay's 14th, about the 14th Amendment, uses AI to animate old photos that are in the public domain, and the filmmaker wants people to see the documentary for themselves before deciding how they feel about it. tinyurl.com/c6nj6vf7

I appreciate that people want a new Mass Effect, but the future where fans advocate for the work itself and not the people who make it is the one the vultures at EA want. If you'll take it however you get it, they can keep treating people who make what you love as expendable.

The elections are on next Tuesday, and so much is at stake, including the soul of the Democratic Party when it comes to transgender people. I am asking you to leave a very small number of races blank in which a Democrat has embraced extreme anti-trans hate. I make my case here.

Sadly I dont really have a break from constant appointments currently because my medical situation has gotten serious enough that doctors are suddenly very concerned. The best way to help is via a throne gift card or kofi. One ride is often $25 ko-fi.com/portaltohade... throne.com/portaltohades
