It's toddler-level dishonesty ("The lamp broke because a lion came in the house and kicked it."). Media should be leading each story by explaining that everything Trump says about [whatever] is a fantastical lie. Especially after they spent years micro-parsing every anodyne thing Biden said.

Was reminded today that Biden caught hell from the press for months because he said that the covid inflation surge was transitory. Which it was, as many in the press acknowledged, yet they still said "but it's inexcusable for the president to downplay people's legitimate concerns about prices".

Ironically I have seen businesses putting plywood up over windows over the last few days. My guess is they’re either setting the stage or businesses were spooked by the announcement of military occupation.

I think it goes beyond that. He saw the footage on Fox, made up his mind and because he can never admit he was wrong, has to continue with his narrative despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. This is one of the worst traits a leader can have.

When someone takes personal advantage of an old man with dementia that person should be charged with elder abuse. In this case there are several who should be charged, and dementia Don should be permanently placed in an asylum (as he calls them-it’s good to use words they are familiar with.
