This "high IQ" greedy moron is literally going to get people killed. Possibly *most* of them. Maybe we will be surprised and the extinction event will be surgical, after AI decides who is the root of the problem with civilization.

When Dad started forgetting things, we took away his car keys and got him a monitor so he could push a button and call for help from wherever. In this case, I propose we buy the nation a monitor and button so we can call for help.

I'm not so sure. I remember reading a piece years ago talking about kids who grew up in elite/powerful circles and how no one wanted to criticize them because their parents or whoever were powerful. So dumb kids of wealthy parents grew up thinking there was nothing wrong with their dumb opinions

I have a parishioner who has suffered a head injury coupled with early dementia and she talks exactly like this. In the last month she went from “I almost finished a doctorate” to “I have two PhDs and my IQ is off the charts”. 😐

Correction: US remains polio-free. Dropping vaccine requirements is a risk that it won't stay so, but there's still been no cases since 2022.

So dangerous. If you know anything about AI and training AI, you need to have extreme regulations so there is not bias in predictions ect. Also need to have extreme regulations on self learning AI so the agents do not game the system and cause injuries or death of humans. He knows nothing about AI.
