When there's that much description, having an image is better because you have more characters to describe the image (with the text *in* the image) than you would have if you just made the sub-text a skeet. IOW, you can make it longer that way *and* make it accessible.

Now I've seen alt text descriptors in inspection elements for video before, and my current screen reader plays nice with alt text provided for video. But a separate image, and full segment by segment breakdown of the video for the alt text? That's fucking _extra_. Outstanding work, Ravin.

Man, at 0:10, that poor little dikdik *CLOCKED* itself. :D You can see it shake its head and step back. I have a feeling it headbutted that horn pretty hard. Not hard enough to *stop* the game, mind you...

It’s like how our dogs entice each other to play…very sweet. I’ve never seen a rhino in action being so social, and they both have so much personality. This is great thanks for posting.

Not sure if it is, given it's in Poland and not the UK. Muntjacs are native to SE Asia and have an invasive population in the UK (escaped from some aristo's estate, apparently), but not in continental Europe. Either species, this guy would have had to jump from the next enclosure over.

Actually, I have no idea where the lil guy came from: If the zoo identification is right, their antelopes are nowhere near the rhino exhibit, and I don't believe they have either species? Hard to tell for sure, mind, as I don't speak Polish.

The unknown quantity for a semi-domesticated(?) animal like this would be a challenge! The one I saw at a game reserve in Tanzania began charging the vehicle I was in and gave it a decent nudge to boot as we took off was just awesome!! 😳

Dik Diks are so funny. Last time we went to the zoo there was one right by the railing and I told my daughter “keep your eyes out, I’m gonna grab him and we’ll take him home” and her face got really long like I was being serious

This Indian rhino is a female. She apparently has a sense of humour and intreprets the "muntjac attack" as an invitation to play. The muntjac is a male whose partner is in heat, so he tries to drive away any potential intruder, no matter how many hundred times his weight.

I don't read Rhino minds, but videos I've seen of baby Rhinos make them seem like they are really playful. You have to wonder what this one is thinking, and the little one is so brave.

This is super cute but my big takeaway is that I'm jealous of all of the people on bsky who apparently have muntjacs just chilling in their yards.
