I'm vegetarian because I like animals. However, I have no ethical objections to eating the rich, but find them disgusting. My share can go to the carrion eaters, or stake them out for the polar bears to eat.

Do NOT eat the rich! For one, they're full of cholesterol. For another, kuru. Instead, COMPOST the rich. You get rid of them AND you help plants grow, thus fighting climate change. Win-win.

mm. If it's a prion disease (kuru, variant Creutzfeld-Jakob, CWD, etc), composting won't handle the prions. Last I checked, lab protocols for prions are like "no, the autoclave is not enough. Boil this in bleach for 45 minutes. Have you considered a volcano?" (1/4)

Did you know that deer, elk, antelope &c also have a prion disease? It's called Cervid Wasting Disease (CWD) and definitely check with your local game officials before next season. I've enjoyed lamb brain but you couldn't pay me to eat deer brain. (3/4)

Remember: cook your food! Since you are eating parasites, it is incredibly important to cook them thoroughly to avoid egg segments and such 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Are you ever concerned about which side of the "rich" line you will find yourself? In your mind, where does that level of wealth start at? Or is it less a number and more just a clear willingness to destroy everything good in society to just extract a few more dollars of personal wealth?

I'm just a schmuck living comfortably in a 1-bedroom apartment in the US, but as far as I'm concerned I'm rich. I live a life of stunning luxury compared to like 99% of humans who've ever lived and all I have to do is write some emails, call in to some Zoom meetings, and do some coding.

The risk is that fairly often people make nearby relative measurements. We likely don't start with eating the billionaires. There's a good chance we start with the people without housing eating the least-wealth people with housing.
