Important to remember that this is already a massively profitable company. They’re uprooting 60,000 lives not because it’s vital to their business. They’re doing it to funnel more excess profit to their millionaire and billionaire shareholders.

A new survey of 1,000 American adults found that the strongest supporters of transgender sports bans are not the people who admire women most: they are the people who hold the most hostile views about women. www.helenwebberley.com/news/transge...

Congrats to Lula on overcoming Mark Zuckerberg and Donald Trump to defeat Hospital Pervert Jr., even as his opposition literally blocked off roads and turned off bus service during election day. Fascists are scary but they are always, 100% of the time, ultimately gigantic fucking losers.

Kansas Dem Sen. nominee Adam Hamilton on trans rights: “I don’t think we should take a small group of people and bully them, pick on them, and hurt them. I understand one thing really clearly when it comes to transgender people, and that is Jesus told me I was to love my neighbor as I love myself”

If you’re trans I want you to know that you’re perfect exactly as you are. There are more people than you realize out there who refuse to support any politician who both-sides your right to exist. Your humanity is non-negotiable and you deserve to live authentically as the gender you identify with 🩷

Why is this student so upset about the mushroom, though? What could it have done to make her protest across the whole continent

I don't know which woman needs to hear this, but-- That depression you might think you're experiencing- what they tell you is neurodivergence-- is really just unprocessed, unchanneled rage and grief. Focus the anger. Your life will transform.

If we tax Elon Musk and his fellow billionaires appropriately, every child in America can have healthcare, education, and a well funded social safety net instead of some racist billionaire’s pathetic pr stunt

Elon Musk has said he will give every child in America a stake in SpaceX, his $2 trillion aerospace and artificial intelligence company, as tech firms face intensifying scrutiny over their impact on society. https://cnn.it/4yWTjTJ

People who always cheat to win convince themselves everyone else is cheating, too. So when they’re confronted with someone who wins simply because they’re better, it kinda breaks their brain.

Elon Musk labeling driving upside down and then falling as "flying" is a really good indication for how incredibly fucking dumb he is and thinks everyone else is.

Rep. Delia C. Ramirez has introduced a bill that would abolish not just ICE, but the DHS altogether, repealing the 2002 law establishing the agency and replacing it with one focused on protecting civil and human rights.

I built up a modest following of 10,000 over more than a decade on Twitter, but it was a no brainer to leave and never look back. I don’t think I’ll ever have the same number of followers again, but that’s ok. It’s not worth supporting a literal child of apartheid.

This is actually really striking. The Republican candidates are genuinely quite bad!

Paul Waldman@paulwaldman.bsky.social

It's really remarkable how in race after race, Republicans are saddled with the worst candidates imaginable - Paxton, Whatley, Husted, Rogers, Marshall, Moody, M. Collins, Graham... Some of them may win, but my god what a collection of losers, crooks, and dumbasses

Ossoff and El-Sayed took different tacks tonight vs their opponents—El-Sayed was more of a subtext of “you dumb fucking racist jackass” while Ossoff’s was more “if you fell down at a gas station I’d toss a lit match on you”—and I don’t think either of those is a bad choice tbh

Cornell University treating Gaza protestors more harshly than gang rapists is a real statement of values. It’s almost like violent domination by the powerful is the core belief of leadership.

Let this sink in. Cornell University refused to refund Jane Doe's tuition the semester she was raped. Without this money, she could not transfer to another school. Essentially, she was forced to stay on campus where she saw those seven rapists frequently. Eventually she dropped out of college.
