The data apparently found EATING 365 OR MORE HOTDOGS PER YEAR was counterindicated. 🤦‍♀️ This does not constitute establishing that there is “no safe amount”, lads. God knows I can’t stand hotdogs, but I’m pretty sure even ardent hotdog fans mostly eat < one per week.

That explains why I will be having an angiogram and possible stint sometime in the next 6-8 weeks. My dad has 2 stints and has had a heart attack from a lifetime of cured pork and gravy sandwiches. He's 23 years older than I and months away from turning 81. He also had bladder cancer.

Where in the study does it say there is "strong" evidence? My quick scan of it in both the executive and the discussion sections said weak relationships and that more study would be needed to determine anything.

That also is valid on products with high cholesterol, lipid, triglyceride and all fried foods most of which heavily dominates the food choices because of the silly tendencies of our fellow Americans who look for the good taste in the first place instead of effects on health! Eat 'salads!'

My German relatives live on average to see 99 & most over in recent memory. Sausage & cold cuts are a daily food group. Maybe it’s the access to healthcare? You know that thing $16M Americans are about to lose. Or the fresh produce they eat with the Brats. The stuff many here can’t afford to buy.

I eat 4 hot dogs for breakfast every day and shit thrice daily. I no longer eat vegetables thanks to DDT and feel closer to G*D. Tell me that's not a healthy way to live, I dare you.

The data showed that people who ate as little as one hot dog a day when it comes to processed meats had an 11% greater risk of type 2 diabetes and a 7% increased risk of colorectal cancer than those who didn’t eat any.

So eating nothing but hotdogs for lunch and drinking lots of carbonated sugar water every day is not healthy. I'm not sure that backs up the "no safe level" claim.

It's all fucking vibes. No one has come up with a decent categorical definition. So much of it boils down to classism, fear of chemistry and flotsam from fad diet trends of the past

They keep noticing these risks, and announcing them like they are news. There are a million of them in life. We just did it in Canada with drinking alcohol. A good example is driving. There is no amount of driving you can do that will be below some threshold of possibly getting killed.

There irrefutable evidences that we all gonna fucking die eventually. Until somebody invent an immortality treatment I'm eating my fucking Hot Dog. In moderation, and I'm also hitting the GYM. Also since process meat is bad maybe we should ask when are we changing the bloody PROCESS?

okay so stop making it then. No? oh that’s right there’s lead in lunchables and it is still sold. people are just trying to survive every new terrible news day. next canned veggies kill me. work full time grow my own food and cook and clean? pass the summer sausage

The wackadoodles too many people voted for want to build concentration camps and close hospitals. No, let's do some fear porn about hot dogs instead. 😒 🌭🌭 In related news, Biden is still old. Here's our in house bitch Jake Tapper to tell you why that's a bigger problem than democracy ending.
