Joke of the day from Moscow: Russia tried to unveil its first humanoid AI robot, Aidol. Key word: tried. The robot collapsed during its debut, forcing organizers to cut the presentation short. Their rushed attempt to lift the prop only made things worse.

That recalls the old Russian Lada joke, by John Wing, if memory (suddenly and for no known reason) serves: A guy goes into an autoparts store and asks the clerk, "Can you give me a wiper blade for my Lada?" The clerk says, "Yeah, sure. That sounds like a fair trade."

I don’t know what’s funnier, the robot falling like it’s been on the Vodka, or the hapless efforts of the man with the black curtain at the end. 🤣

If they were soldiers, the Ukrainians would win the war 😂 It's being sais that some Russian soldiers have had " brain transplants " with Russian developed AI as part of strengthening the armed combattants. That's why they can't evade FPV drones. Not part of their new AI transplant programs😂😱🤣

We design humanoid robots in our own image, and so this robot is a success. Then, if they want something that works reasonably well and can walk, they can find it for a few thousand euros in the West. NB: I also like the guy struggling with the sheet to hide the scene. :-//
