“Nobody rides for free, man, this Chevy cost me beaucoup. I bet the wheels alone are worth more than your V-Dub.” - Any high school parking lot Circa 1978

Honestly, given how much oil moves through Hormuz, I’d almost believe they’re looking for new revenue streams. Shipping costs are already a nightmare with all the naval escorts.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣✊🏾….. precious memories !!! I believe that strategy worked during the Vietnam and Korean Wars…. I can’t remember, I sacrificed a hellava lot of brain cells in the 70’s . Thank God for Rehab !!! 👍🏾

If Iran is allowed to get away with this what is to stop the UK & France doing the same with the, much busier & narrower Straits of Dover? Two million £ or € per vessel that's between 500 & 600 million each per day. Some govt's might be tempted.

Honestly, all jokes aside, every ship passing through there carries goods regular people rely on. Any new “fee” means higher prices for people who have nothing to do with these power plays.

Is this the new standard for 'non-consensual' exchange? If you don't settle the debt in 'donkeys,' the gate stays shut. So much for the rules of international commerce.

The onion fucking rules. I need another subscription like I need a mole rat in my bed but I got that print subscription. Couldn’t help it. Can’t wait for my first copy to arrive

The funny thing is that the IRGC regularly accepted bribes in beer for folk the caught fishing in the straights of Hormuz back before the war.
