I'm a new homeowner in SoCal and I would not have my backyard paved or landscaped or my decks refinished or my walls painted or my floors redone or my house cleaned without immigrants and I am very grateful!

If the employer reports it and withholds, and the employee uses an ID number, then yes. But not if the employer pays cash…my question is why aren’t the employers held accountable…?
