Hi Wes! Looking forward to some 🌶️ spicy tips from you on here 🔥. I'm also looking for more web devs to follow on here, so will re-share for visibility.

Laravel enthusiast and professional race car driver here (definitely in that order and no other). Looking to connect with PHP / Laravel fam and any other rad people (in tech or not idgaf) 🏄‍♂️

Same! Yeah I’m big into F1, sim racing and after my first track event a couple months ago I’m in the process of setting up my ND Miata for more events.

I was doing some auto-x in my 86 but I currently don’t have a track car. 😢 I have done some work on Sims too. My buddy owns simgear.com I wrote some code that pulls telemetry from few games and controls the actuators. Fun project.

simgear.comHome - SimGear - Motion Simulator for Racing and FlightSimGear GT Series Racing Rigs were designed with mobility in mind. Simulators are notoriously large and cumbersome to relocate. Our design incorporates all

Thanks a ton! You work on Descript? Have you ever done a podcast on the stack you use there? I've had a few calls + DMs with Andrew, really hoping to use it soon

Our podcast is focused the people making devtools rather than apps, so it wouldn't really fit the mold. Happy to answer questions about all the cool stuff that's going on. though If you ever need a crash course in Descript I can give you some pointers! I do my full production in it

Hi. We should try to build an app for finding birdsite folks in here, like the ones that exist for mstdn

I think the onboarding experience here is way nicer than Mastodon. Also, it helps that a decent sized group of people who know each other on other networks are already here.

100%. The Mastodon UX is just awful. It was always going to be a non starter. I have high hopes for this. It needs a lot of work, but the foundations are definitely good and it's getting the right kind of buzz around it.
