In all fairness, punk is also not politically correct. Followimg the rules in case people cancel you sounds like anti-punk. I'm not saying people should be bigoted, but if being intellectually honest saying "respect my pronouns, wave a rainbow flaaaag, yeeeaahh" is the least punk cringe ever.

Ehhh I would disagree. The “Great Replacement” is predicated on large numbers of people coming in and “diluting the race/culture/country”. The real message of Superman’s parents is more like a brief handbook on effective conquest techniques.

It’s tragifunny that the only message a lot of conservatives got out of punk rock was its zeitgeist in the counterculture, so now when anything conservative appears remotely antithetical to mainstream beliefs (for whatever reason), it instantly gets marked ‘punk rock’ in an attempt to popularize it.

Genuinely the point of punk wasn't just to break the conservative mold, it was that the mold was always wrong and miserable to a point where it wasn't able to be taken as acceptable abuse anymore. Being incapable of understanding that is why Boomers never developed enough with the times at all.
