I'm actually going to go against the grain and say you're right because reading this take of yours has caused us all immeasurable torment.

I'm beginning to think the only difference between tech ceos and regular Joe's, is simply that a tech ceo has lucked into money from a friend/ignorant investor/family, and is both slightly dumber and significantly more confidently wrong.

I think most of us who spent considerable time on the internet is aware both of the "torment nexus" and exactly where it comes from, many of us were there when it was coined :)

I realize I am projecting my own experiences and behaviors onto others here, but: People aren't going to use a dislike button *instead* of replying to posts like this: they will press it in *addition* to telling you you've got wet dogfood between your ears

Oh man i want a dislike button, but i am the sort of reason you don't want one. Fuck man i hate everything but it will be a great way to express my distaste for ai bullshit.

I used to think that surely there were some good techbros, but my god, you're all idiots shoving crayons into your mouths faster than you can chew them while demanding that everyone watch.

Well, the "good techbros" don't call themselves "techbros", as that's just purely a negative thing. Just like there isn't any "good nazis", the second part kind of excludes the first part.
