I'm struggling to figure out why the water and the hammers are being used in tandem when they don't appear to be related. So you get discomfort from the water, and... the hammers are just weighing you down a bit? Are they holding their shirts in place so they don't ride up from the water stream?

These losers clearly have a humiliation kink. Normal people strap on some sneakers and go for a run, maybe with a water vest in the woods, or get a gym subscription and hit the weights - or both! They’re just little piss piglets, and I’m sure all RW bootlickers too.

Jeez, when I was 14 and in NJROTC, the government was ready to pay US to treat us like this in boot camp after we graduated high school. They were also going to clothe us, feed us, give us a place to live, and give us a skill or two that we could apply to our lives after we left the service.

I was camping with my husband once and we were awoken at 11 pm by the sound of 100 men suddenly shouting at once and running through the woods in the dark. We solved the mystery the next morning: we saw a huge group of men all wearing orange t-shirts and a "Los Legendarios" van parked nearby.

Yeah, seems fairly harmless and positive! Though I didn't appreciate being woken up by sudden shouting and sound of heavy sprinting footsteps at 11 pm in a family campground 😅

It's so weird that there's a whole section of our population that's super mad that they don't have to live in trees or caves and hunt all of their own food, but instead of going and doing those things, they pay someone to physically and psychologically torture them.

I thought being an alpha male was supposed to be about being a dominant Casanova type? This is literal masochism. Give it a little longer, and we'll be back on the ancient Greek definition of masculinity.

Paying hundreds of dollars to another man so he can yell and you and hurt you just so you can say that you are a man now is, dare I say it, stupid. Masculinity isn't behind a paywall. If you wanna be a man, just be a man. No one can stop you.

That looks like BUDs training? There are sooooo many camps like that that cost $$$$ with the promise that they will prepare you to beat Hell Week but apparently it just results in a laughably high drop out rate at BUDs

I have always been amused by the fact these dudes pay money for this crap. When they *paid me* to go to ACTUAL Basic Training. I suspect they are mostly successful $$ and don't understand that the reason they're unhappy is bc they're assholes, and they wouldn't give up the income to enlist anyway

Look, the pandemic changed things for a lot of us, and if I need to make some side money duping a bunch of dudes into wearing matching shorts and t shirts while I waterboard them in my backyard at $7,500 a pop, who is hurt by it??
