Hey everybody! You may notice Trending start to appear in your app! Here’s some quick info: - This is a beta - Search page on mobile, right sidebar on desktop - You can disable it with the X button on the trending section - English only for now, while we test it Merry Christmas!

Some more info about the Trending beta - If you disable it, you can restore it in your settings - We do moderate it - If it somehow goes haywire we’ll press a big red button to turn it off

I cannot find this. Across the top I have only the items I selected (hist, books) plus a few Blue sky created ones (follow, discover). On my Chromebook there is no right margin anything. Left choices are as before with no mention of trending.

Weird, my language is set to English but i am not seeing it. Am on iOS and the app is updated to the latest version on the App Store.

I LOVE how disabling works, as someone who figures I'll leave it on! Being able to close it and have it *completely* out of sight, so you have to go all the way to the settings to flick it back on, is perfect imo

Suggestions: 1. Suggestion box so I don't have to bug you. 2. The ability to "time out" users for a period of time. People change. And blocking someone permanently because they're MAGA now seems silly. This function works very well on Twitch. 3. Don't let the money people destroy this app too.

If you get an edit button I can ask "have you ever seen the moon" and once you reply "no" I could change it to "have you ever (insert something embarrassing)" and i assume you know where this is headed

I see this in the mobile app, but not on desktop with Safari - nothing on the search page or in feeds. Only my feeds to which I'm subscribed show up. I also don't see any settings to (re?) enable this feature, though I don't recall disabling it on desktop.

I know. I just said that phrase in my head and it sounded cool, so I thought I'd share it. I'm not against following trending at all. If your survival as a fish depended on your ability to follow the direction changes of the rest of the school that you were in, that would be important.

Do you think you could add a TikTok-like feature since TikTok has been weaponized to defeat democracies. I 💖💖💖💖💖 Bluesky. There is supposed to be a mass exodus from Twitter in January. Get ready.

Woo! Thanks for the ❌ button. This was one of the things I hid with uBlock Origin on Twitter since they were rarely anything I wanted to see, but this lets me do so natively on all my devices.

Hey Stop making this site Twitter, please The lack of engagement farming was what specifically made this website not a cesspool like the bird app Stop trying to make people care about what's popular. Stop trying to SEO and algorithm and social engineer your way into turning this place into hell.

Let people disengage. Let people check out. Let people tell the rest of planet earth to royally fuck off and let them live their lives in peace. Let BlueSky be a haven in the storm, like it was. Do not do this.

I don't care if a post of mine gets a hundred likes or no likes. I'm not here to be popular. I'm here to just chill, relax, post whatever I want. If nobody sees it, that's okay. I don't want everyone chasing an algorithm and learning what to be mad about the moment they think about not being mad.
