The issue to me here is that in the same vein that people dont want to use AI to write code, there are also a lot of people who dont want to use AI coded projects. This is a large chunk of the bluesky community, so building a project for them using AI was never going to work

You typically have to follow their licensing and give credit if using code from Github. Claude does no such thing. This is wrong. This is stealing.

With licenses attached, as well as an expectation to give credit as well as submitting any improvements back to the original project. Does Claude follow the licenses of code that it's ingested? Does it submit improvements? Does it give credit? Would it be right for a human coder to act that way?

its not all unlicensed or uncredited either. there is a ton of pirated copyrighted material, including code, in all the models. thats what alot of the recent lawsuits not about suicides and murders caused by genAi are all about.
