Do we really need a new Bond film? I mean, if we absolutely do, I guess I could make a couple of title suggestions: Die Another Day, Again No Time to Retire Goldfinger's Silver Wedding Anniversary

More handsome in my opinion than any of the others. I saw him for one year on a Shondaland (Grey's Anatomy) law show on ABC, then he left. Went to film Bridgerton, it turned out. I never saw that. I don't remember how well he could act, but I do remember really loving that first show of his.

Why does everyone think Amazon's going to make more of a mess of this than the Broccolis ever did? BURT REYNOLDS was offered the role! The below says Clint was also offered it...that one I'd never heard before.

It'd be the most natural pick, but if we're still going with a male lead I'd say Idris Elba but I don't know if he'd want to at this point in his career.

A fresh face is a good idea, but given the performance of Matthew Rhys in The Beast in Me he would nail affable psychopath well. Considering running becomes hard at fifty, perhaps a forty something would be better. He does have a 'blend' face. How do you make a wanker like Bond likeable?

How about we give a whole new spin on the story and make Bond Chinese? There’s a bunch of incredibly handsome and suave young Chinese actors like Zhang Linghe (star of the series Pursuit of Jade on Netflix).

It should be me. I could manage a few simple stunts - slipping on the stairs, getting tangled in a seatbelt, etc. The sex stuff could be filmed with a body double while I have a nap.

So far, Bond actors have come from 5 / 56 "Commonwealth countries" Sean Connery - Scotland George Lazenby - Australia Roger Moore & Daniel Craig - England Timothy Dalton - Wales Pierce Brosnan - Ireland Let's get a Canadian in the running.

A french actor. It's about time. Ideally in his fifties… with a Welsh twang. And the same for Doctor Who. I checked my diary, I'm available.

Rebecca Ferguson. Mission Impossible should have handed her the franchise, and her action skills are unquestionable. I feel like she'd be a fantastic match for the role.

Why? Feels like it would be really fun to see a different take on the character. Seems too narrow a view on art and cinema to think that couldn't be good. Different tastes though. 🤷‍♂️

Sure though people have been speculating about “Jane Bond” since at least the 90’s. I remember people back then talking about how awesome a role it would be for Sharon Stone. But I feel like if there were genuine public interest in that, it may have at least gotten to early development stage by now.

I think all the talk of a middle-aged and established actors is wrong. 'Fresh-faced' is Hollywood code for young and relatively unknown. Probably English. She's Swedish. Yes, possibly the most English Swedish person in the world, that's true 😆 She's great but it won't be her.

In my head-canon "James Bond" is just the code name for "whoever becomes agent 007", so I don't have much preferences. If any preference, they shouldn't cast an all to noticeable superstar, but rather someone who can do cool while looking bland most of the time.

lol make sure they are going to save the world from the maga trump bullshit!,, so it is uplifting to the people who have been screwed by trump,,and, the revolt (revolution)will end the upground movement. Maybe elite snipers will take care of the problem. Good movie! Make it true
