Oh my goodness, this Wall Street Journal piece about Trump's ailing health that includes an interview with him (gift link). There are a number of ridiculous details in it and I'll put a few of them in this thread. (1/6)

Trump denies what we've all seen with our own eyes -- that he regularly falls asleep during on camera events -- instead saying he's just "blinking." “Sometimes they’ll take a picture of me blinking, blinking, and they’ll catch me with the blink.” (4/6)

He does the weave. Friends of mine that are, like, geriatric psychologists, they say it's the saddest thing I've ever seen. www.youtube.com/watch?v=QrZX...
Yes, this. A true psychopath lacks empathy even for himself. It’s what’s makes them such great liars—they don’t really care about the consequences of getting caught, because it’s just a game in the moment, and they don’t empathize with the problems of their future self. So why not eat three burgers?
Consider who owns the WSJ, who trusts it & how research proves ppl believe what's repeated--especially by a trusted source. You don't believe the bs, bc you don't trust WSJ. But many fools do trust it. Humans are easy to con. See @mkonnikova's The Confidence Game. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illusor...
Trump has been almost omnipresent in his second term, fielding questions from journalists sometimes several times a day, delivering impromptu remarks and regularly hosting dinners at the White House. Trump veers from topic to topic in his lengthy public statements, and sometimes makes factual errors
Please let Trump eat as much fast as he can consume. All the time if he wants. Trump clearly knows best. @aoc.bsky.social @whitehouse-47.bsky.social @chrislhayes.bsky.social
I’ve heard that people have issues with alcoholics or heavy smokers getting organ transplants and other expensive and difficult treatments while not making any effort to mitigate the issues causing their health problems. Should he receive great medical care to try to overcome his horrible self care?
I plugged Big Mac, Quarter Pounder (cheese removed), and Filet-o-Fish along with a small fries into the McDonald's nutrition tool, and this is what it gave me www.mcdonalds.com/us/en-us/abo...
A single Filet-o-Fish contains: - 15% of the recommended adult allowance of cholesterol - 19% of saturated fat but no trans fat. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filet-O...
They made one for Hegseth, too. youtu.be/uOyjzE1vcD4?...
This was less than he normally eats. He usually goes for the full 80’s commercial list, but he left the “icy Coke thick shakes, sundaes and apple pies” for his midnight tweeting frenzy. youtu.be/Dc-eNtAyH8k?...
