I missed the 88 presidential primary (out of country, young) but not a state, local, or federal or primary or general since that. First presidential vote, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Willa_K...
crazy how this is still discourse. gay men can be cringe like anyone else, singing a song about voting didn't sway any voters to pick mamdani, and y'all have reduced socialism down to "does a good job as an elected official." the joke is spot on, and this liberal sensationalism rounds it out nicely.
So @junlper.beer is a queer foe? Got it babe. So glad she doesn't have a long history as a member of and standing with the queer community and all of their shades. I'll be sure to ask her for comment so her rampant homophobia can be properly cited on Wikipedia. Libs are fucking wild.

even before I thought i’d myself as queer, there were two things I would not tolerate people shit-talking: gay men’s choirs and The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgencs
Jokes have a point of view. This point of view is "liberals" wrongly equate voting with change. There are good arguments for that, but New York under Mamdani shows the opposite: that voting for the candidate you want, not the one that is "electable," can cause real change. The cynicism is misplaced.
